The Client:

Victoria Mill, located in Manchester, England, was a cotton spinning mill built in the 19th century and served as a prominent landmark in the city’s industrial history.

Constructed in 1869 by architect George Woodhouse. – The mill was designed as a double mill with a central engine house. – It was used for cotton spinning and weaving until the early 20th century. – Operations continued until the 1960s. – The mill was demolished in the 1990s.

The site is currently home to modern residential and commercial properties. – Victoria Mill Residences is a sought-after development in East Manchester. – It is located close to Manchester city centre, the Northern Quarter, and Manchester Piccadilly Station. – The development features apartments that preserve iconic elements, such as structural columns.

Work Completed:

Remodelling works to the ground floor of Victoria Mill, currently occupied by the NHS with retention of services to the accommodation levels located in the upper floors.

Modifications to existing heating 

New ventilation installation

Air conditioning

Domestic and public health services
