Legionella Prevention

Legionnaires’ disease is a potentially fatal type of pneumonia that can be contracted by inhaling airborne water droplets containing viable Legionella bacteria.

The droplets can be created by hot and cold water outlets such as atomisers, wet air conditioning plant and whirlpool or hydrotherapy baths when the temperature of water is between 20° and 50°C.

Our maintenance engineers have been fully trained in the management of Legionella in hot and cold water systems and the disinfection of water supply.

This enables us to provide legionella rectification of remedial works, helping you to prevent the bacteria through effective temperature management.
