Background:
The Manchester Institute of Health and Performance (MIHP) is a world-class healthcare facility combining modern diagnostic technology.
The project:
To create a new location for the wind tunnel being installed at the MIHP. The work will involve dividing the existing Performance Capture Hall into a dedicated and specialist performance testing facility involving the wind tunnel into the divided hall, plus ancillary spaces/offices for operations and support staff.
Work completed:
MBS work involved the design and amendments to the existing ventilation systems, heating and cooling systems and BMS control systems to ensure the amended and new areas are environmentally controlled to the client’s requirements.
This project is one of a large number we have already completed for City Build.
