Conwy Adventure Leisure Ltd, based in the Conwy Valley, North Wales, planned to expand their existing Surf Snowdonia activity centre in Dolgarrog. Works would include a 106 bedroomed hotel and wellness spa.
The £2m mechanical engineering contract was secured following a competitive tender.
Works which were completed in January 2021, included, the installation of a hybrid VRF (variable refrigerant flow) heating and cooling system, underfloor heating to the spa area fed from CHP (combined heating power unit), supply and extract heat recovery ventilation throughout the ground floor, centralised gas fired hot water plant providing hot water to all bedroom outlets and ground floor toilets and centralised mechanical control panel.
Other leisure industry projects completed by Murray Building Services include, Blackburn Northern Tennis Dome, Lancashire Football Association, Manchester City and Southport Football Club.
